I study media because I believe in its power to awaken us as students, citizens, and humans. From television to film to news to social media, our realities are suspended through the fabric of media ecosystems. 

But other people have said this better than I ever could. Rather than mapping out the entire media landscape or even its shape at different points, my work stands at the intersection of the representation of identity and the power of simply giving voice to the complexities in that existence.
